Hospital goes green with JCM support

On the afternoon of October 2nd, 2015, in Hanoi, Viet Duc Hospital, Mitsubishi Corporation and Ho Chi Minh City Energy Conservation Center had a ceremony for the acceptance of project equipments to Viet Duc Hospital which became the first hospital in Hanoi to join the Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM). This project is supported by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan (METI) through the Department of the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO).

Demonstration project "Energy-saving Light Weight Linerboard Plant" is conducted in Viet Nam

NEDO has adopted three JCM Demonstration projects and one of them will be conducted in Viet Nam.

Project Cycle Procedure of the JCM

“Methodology” in the JCM quantifies GHG emission reduction from project implementation. GHG emission reduction in the JCM is estimated/monitored conservatively. (Key concept 1: Reference emission). JCM promotes advanced low-carbon technology. (Key concept 2: Eligibility criteria)
