Actions for Low Carbon Development in Developing Countries through the Joint Crediting Mechanism

On Monday, 8 December 2014, the Ministry of the Environment of Japan, the Overseas Environment Cooperation Center, Japan (OECC) and the Global Environment Centre Foundation (GEC) organized a side event at UNFCCC COP20, titled “Actions for Low Carbon Development in Developing Countries through the Joint Crediting Mechanism.” The Joint Crediting Mechanism, sponsored by Japan, diffuses technology and knowledge for low-carbon development to developing countries. This video by IISD Reporting Services explores how developing countries have benefited from the mechanism.
